Description
The School of Mathematical and Statistical Sciences at Clemson University is seeking talented individuals for a tenured or tenure-track faculty position starting August 15, 2025. The position is geared towards individuals with expertise in statistics, and research interests in uncertainty quantification, design and analysis of computer experiments, topological data analysis and/or closely related fields. Recruiting will begin at the Associate Professor rank, but exceptional candidates for the rank of Assistant Professor will also be considered.
The successful candidate will be expected to teach courses in statistics and other related areas that are typically taught by faculty within the Statistics and Operations Research Division of the School. Specific desirable attributes for candidates include strong interest in: collaboration with faculty members within the school, interdisciplinary work with subject-matter researchers throughout the university, and building industrial partnerships.

Qualifications
Applicants must have a Ph.D. in Statistics or closely related field. A strong record of, or demonstrated potential for, high-quality, impactful research (publications, funding support, etc.) in relevant fields is preferred.
