Readiness Assessment Solution Architect (Remote)

Description

• We are seeking a consultant to conduct a Readiness Assessment to evaluate our agency's preparedness to design, build, and maintain a secure, robust, moderately complex application in-house. The assessment should analyze the capabilities of our IT department-including staffing, architecture, platform, development approach, and governance processes-and identify risks, gaps, and areas for improvement. The consultant will deliver findings, recommendations, and a roadmap to help ensure we are positioned for a successful in-house build.

What we want in a Readiness Assessment:

• High Level: an assessment of risk around an in-house build and how ready we are to build a solution and analysis about what it would take to get ready. What are we getting ready to do? Build a secure, robust, moderate complexity application in-house using Microsoft Tools.
• From EIS P3: the understanding of the agency's IT dept to understand/develop/and maintain an in house build. with all the surrounding things like, approach, platform, structure, architecture and everything like that included.
