The Multimedia Clerk is responsible for supporting the Clerk’s visual and digital presence through social media content creation, photography, and event coverage. Key responsibilities include capturing high-quality images, developing engaging social media content, and attending various events to ensure public awareness of Clerk services and initiatives. Working closely with Communication Specialist, the Multimedia Clerk ensures consistent and compelling messaging through photos, videos, and social media.Responsibilities:
- Capture high-quality, candid and posed images of staff, events, and wedding ceremonies; Prioritize capturing meaningful moments during wedding ceremonies that reflect the significance of these events.
- Perform photo editing, image enhancement, and organization to ensure all photos align with the Clerk’s visual standards.
- Develop and curate engaging social media content, including posts, videos, and graphics across the Clerk’s social media platforms; Works directly with the Clerk and Communications Specialist to ensure a cohesive, consistent, and professional social media presence.
- Maintain a content calendar for consistent and strategic posting; Track social media metrics, prepare reports on engagement and performance, and provide recommendations for improving social media strategies.
- Monitor and moderate the Clerk’s social media; Ensure timely and positive engagement to comments, messages, and mentions; Address or remove inappropriate interactions when necessary.
- Assists in the development, planning, and operation of the office’s external public relations campaigns; Regular attendance at events that may take place outside of normal working hours, at night, or on weekends is required.
- Collaborates with the Events Committee to ensure efficient and successful events; Attendance and support at these events is required.
- Perform general administrative tasks such as data entry, answering phone calls, responding to emails.
- Delivers courteous and professional customer service to co-workers, partners, and customers.
- Provide general office support and complete specific tasks throughout the Clerk’s office as directed by the Clerk or a member of the Clerk's Executive Team.
- Graduation from high school or a General Educational Development (GED) required.
- Experience in social media content creation; a portfolio of professional work or presentation of personal social media is required.
- Ability to attend events that may take place outside of normal working hours, at night, or on weekends.
- Proven professional experience of wedding photography and photographic techniques.
- Proficiency in photo editing and manipulation software, particularly Adobe Creative Suite
- Skilled in speaking clearly and distinctly, both in person and on the telephone, using appropriate vocabulary and grammar to communicate routine and complex information in a manner that is understandable and respectful.
- Excellent writing skills to compose general correspondence using correct grammar and punctuation and using tone and format appropriate for the intended audience.
- Strong computer skills with proficiency in desktop office solutions, such as Microsoft Office Suite, database applications, email, .pdf file attachments, internet search tools, and various computer peripheral devices.
- Possess excellent customer service and interpersonal skills to establish and maintain cooperative, tactful, effective, and harmonious working relationships with co-workers, attorneys, external agencies, and the public.
- Knowledge of a wide range of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, transcription, designing forms, and other office procedures, office equipment and terminology.
- Ability to learn and understand specialized information, including codes, rules, policies, procedures, forms, and legal terms, and apply that knowledge in carrying out job assignments accurately and efficiently.
- Ability to work with confidential and/or sensitive data; interpret and comply with state and federal guidelines.
- Have strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize work in an environment that includes frequent interruptions and simultaneous detailed attention to multiple tasks.
- Dependable and able to meet the assigned work schedule. Must be flexible as work assignments may frequently change.
- Ability to work independently with little supervision and exercise good judgement and discretion.
- Comply with legal advice restrictions of the Clerk of the Circuit Court & Comptroller’s Office.
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
