What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mammo Tech position at Clermont Radiology LLC?
Busy imaging center looking for a Full Time Mammo Tech. The hours will be Monday-Thursday, 7am-5pm.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform mammography exams and procedures per established standards and guidelines.
- Assumes responsibility for performing mammography examinations that are technically satisfactory, properly positioned and processed adequately.
- Perform bone densitometry exams per established standards and guidelines.
- Demonstrate an understanding of human breast anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
- Provide patient education and answer questions regarding mammography exams and procedures.
- Follow infection control and radiation safety measures for all exams and procedures.
- Employee must remain current in all policies and procedures to ensure consistent quality of knowledge and performance.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
· High school diploma (or equivalent).
· American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registered license.
· ARRT Mammography certification
· State of Florida registered license.
· CPR / BLS certification.
· Continuing Education - 200 exams and 15 breast / 24 general CME / CEU credits
· Must be able to pass background screening
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
· ACR Accreditation / MQSA Regulations experience.
· 2-3 years Mammography experience
