Service Writer/Advisor

NOW HIRING AN AUTOMOTIVE SEVICE WRITER/MANAGER AT CLEVE-HILL AUTO & TIRE

We are seeking an experienced service writer to join our team at Cleve-Hill Auto and Tire. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in automotive sales and service, with the ability to provide exceptional customer service and manage the service department efficiently.

In this role, you will serve as one of the primary points of contact for customers, guiding them through their automotive service needs and ensuring a seamless service experience. You will leverage your technical knowledge and sales skills to recommend appropriate services while maintaining excellent customer relations.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly and professionally, assessing their automotive service needs.
• Communicate effectively with service technicians to relay customer concerns and service requirements.
• Provide accurate estimates for services including brake repair, suspension work, electrical, diagnostic, tire services and more.
• Assist customers with understanding necessary repairs and maintenance, utilizing your knowledge of automotive repair and auto estimating.
• Manage cash handling transactions efficiently while ensuring accurate documentation of services rendered.
• Follow up with customers regarding their vehicle status and any additional services that may be needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized service area to enhance customer experience.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a service advisor or in a similar role within the automotive industry is asset.
• Strong understanding of automotive systems and repair processes, including brake repair, suspension systems, shocks and struts, engine repair, and tire service.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical information clearly to customers when presenting repair quotes

· Clear verbal and written communications skills

• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in handling cash transactions and documentation.
• The ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Job Type: Full-time position

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour (Based on Experience)
