Sales & Operations Engineer

Job Summary: Develop, quote, submit, and coordinate all electronic and manual administration required for major engine repairs/overhauls within the Oil and Gas and Electric Power Generation division. Track and trend project metrics and provide solutions to mitigate risks (including but not limited to): sales (win/loss rates), job effective labor rates, and job durations. Research, build, and maintain all standard jobs and processes set by operations management. Primary Duties: Develop & quote all major repairs and overhauls. Works with the product support sales team to develop quotes per customer scopes\specification During quoting and project development, this position will be responsible for conducting site visits to ensure accuracy of the project. Continuously analyze and evaluate current standard jobs and process library – coordinate with Operations, ERC, and PSSR Teams for opportunities for expansion. Conduct research pertaining to standard jobs - industry standards, competitor information, and historic CB job files. Track and verify accuracy of quotes provided to PSSR's or operations including - parts, labor, and miscellaneous costs. Maintain (update as needed) the current library of standard jobs – Ensuring an elevated level of accuracy. Both Sales and Operational support responsibilities are required – upfront project sales, ongoing operational projects, pre/post job evaluations, and execution review Track and trend project metrics and provide solutions to mitigate risks (including but not limited to): sales (win/loss rates), job effective labor rates, and job durations. Secondary Duties: Maintain quote documentation and files Conduct and lead post job evaluations with Sales, Operations, and the Parts Teams – communicating and learnings to all Team members. Performs other duties necessary to improve customer satisfaction, quote/project accuracy, and project efficiency. Requirements: High School diploma or equivalent required Secondary education is a plus. Possess high mechanical aptitude and analytical mindset. Extensive knowledge and experience with reciprocating engines – parts, components, and functionality Experience identifying parts using company software. Ability to determine and develop accurate job scope including labor, parts and misc. requirements. Open mindset to change – always evaluating ways to improve process accuracy, efficiency, and execution. Excellence organization skills Ability to work within structured time restraints. Ability to work efficiently at high volume levels. Ability to organize and analyze large quantities of data. Excellent typing and computer Skills Excellent level in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Excellent verbal and written communication skills Collaborator – will be working alongside numerous Departments. Demonstrate ability to learn and master various software systems that are key tools to perform duties. Must be able to read and comprehend information received via computer terminal specifications reports, technical/business correspondence, and reports. Intermediate ability to build and modify utilization reports. This individual will provide services for multiple locations throughout the company and will be located at any of our CB E&T Office Locations (preferably in either the New Stanton or Ebensburg Facilities.) Salary : $60,000 - $90,000
