The Continuous Improvement Specialist manages medium to large improvement activities or projects, leveraging project management tools to deliver results. You will apply the Cleveland Clinic Improvement Model (CCIM) building and advancing capabilities of caregivers through teaching, facilitating and coaching caregivers.
A caregiver in this position works 8:00am—5:00pm.
A caregiver who excels in this role will:
Growing knowledge of the CCIM while implementing and applying it to operational teams. This knowledge growth should include but not be limited to increasing teams' knowledge in Organizational alignment, Visual management, Problem-solving, and Standardization.
Lead small or medium-sized projects leveraging intermediate Continuous Improvement and project management tools.
Teach, coach, and mentor frontline caregivers and leadership on continuous improvement best practices.
Build capability in analyzing and measuring the effectiveness of existing processes to develop sustainable, repeatable and quantifiable process improvements in medium to large sized areas with minimal oversight and guidance from Senior CIs and above.
Drive medium to large improvement activities toward quantifiable results
Research best practices within and outside the organization and apply learnings to assigned area.
Participate in the collection and analyzation of process data to initiate, develop and recommend practices and procedures that focus on enhanced safety, increased productivity and reduced cost
Establish effective working relationships with primary work groups to execute job deliverables.
Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
Bachelor's Degree.
Four years of business or healthcare experience.
Two years of process improvement or two years of project management with an expectation of being able to deliver CI tools within 12 months.
Strong communication skills and demonstrated ability to collaborate at all organizational levels with assistance or guidance from a senior team member or above.
Demonstrated ability to teach/coach managers and caregivers regarding continuous improvement principles and practices with assistance from a senior team member or above.
Has coached and trained leadership and frontline caregivers on execution of kaizen process.
Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
Master's Degree.
Project Management Professional (PMP) or Lean certification.
Healthcare experience.

Pay Range
Minimum hourly: $36.80
Maximum hourly: $56.13
