The Gynecologic Surgery Unit at Weston Hospital is committed to providing patients with innovative and personalized surgical care for a wide range of gynecologic conditions. As RN Team Lead, you will focus on creating a cohesive, unified and organized environment where every caregiver feels empowered in offering quality and safe care. In this position, you will grow alongside your team as you gain hands-on experience and enhance your nursing skills.
A caregiver in this position works 8am-5pm, Monday-Friday.
A caregiver who excels in this role will:
- Provide professional nursing care to patients in an ambulatory setting.
- Assist in providing clinical oversight to assigned caregivers and patients.
- Coordinate and resolve daily operations issues.
- Perform the duties of an RN ambulatory.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and patient safety initiatives.
- Facilitate orientation, teaching, coaching and mentoring of assigned caregivers.
- Assist in preparing department specific education for patients and caregivers. Participate in quality initiatives, process improvement and research activities to improve patient outcomes, patient experience and patient safety.
Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
- Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
- Two years of recent experience as an RN
- Three years of Adult Women's Health experience
Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
Bachelor's of Science in Nursing (BSN)
Previous charge nurse or supervisory experience

Physical Requirements:
- Full range of motion, manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination
- Corrected hearing and vision to normal range
- Some exposure to communicable diseases or bodily fluids
- Light Work, exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects
