Die Setter/Press Operator

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Die Setter to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in precision measurement and materials handling, with experience in operating various machinery. As a Die Setter, you will be responsible for setting up and adjusting dies in production presses, ensuring that all specifications are met to maintain high-quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Set up and adjust dies in production presses according to specifications.
• Utilize precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers to ensure accuracy.
• Conduct quality control checks throughout the production process to maintain product standards.
• Operate milling machines and other related equipment as necessary.
• Handle materials safely and efficiently within the warehouse environment.
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve production processes.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.

Experience

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment is preferred.
• Proficiency with SolidWorks or similar CAD software is a plus.
• Familiarity with welding processes and techniques is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of quality control measures and practices.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings effectively.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
