Cleveland Metroparks is seeking a professional, detail-oriented part-time Administrative Specialist/Receptionist to serve as the welcoming face of the Administrative Offices. This essential role will ensure every visitor and caller receives excellent customer service while supporting a variety of administrative functions.

Key Responsibilities:
- Greets, assists, and directs guests in a friendly and efficient manner.
- Operates the administrative phone system, answering calls and routing inquiries.
- Uses digital and printed materials to stay informed and accurately answer visitor and caller questions about events, closures, and general information related to the park district and zoo.
- Responds to email inquiries and forwards relevant information to the appropriate departments.
- Accepts and distributes deliveries appropriately.
- Performs opening and closing duties for the reception area.
- Provides administrative support such as filing, reporting, and assisting with special projects.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills with the ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with employees, stakeholders, and the public.
- Ability to efficiently navigate websites, online calendars, and printed materials to locate and relay accurate information.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including proper grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with a proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality with sensitive information.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with initiative, as well as cooperatively as part of a team.
Work Days & Hours: Part-time Monday – Friday, 12:00 pm – 4:30 pm
