This position serves as the Executive Director, Partnership Development. It is responsible for establishing and developing relationships with corporate, nonprofit organizations, school districts, and college / university partners. Also responsible for identifying and tracking partnership opportunities, facilitating outreach events, and discovering opportunities for collaboration with various departments and organizations.
This position is based in San Jose.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
- Establishes and develops relationships with corporate, nonprofit organizations, school districts, and college / university partners; identifies and tracks partnership opportunities with various public and private organizations; facilitates responses to requests for information and / or partnership opportunities. (30%)
- Develop strategic partnerships with businesses, workforce agencies, military bases (as appropriate), and international agencies to increase brand awareness and market share for the college. Determine the goals of each partner and develop and present unique strategies to support their objectives. (30%)
- Promotes POC with corporate, nonprofit organizations, and college / university partners so they understand our goals, programs, and interest in attending PO programs. (30%)
- Collaborates with other campus offices to identify and develop relationships between POC and various external partners. (10%)
- Actively seek out partnerships with high schools, colleges, and university partners; serve as the liaison to students, faculty, and administration regarding dual credit agreements, transfer guides, and articulation agreements. (10%)
- Participate in planning and implementing virtual, hybrid, and in-person events for individuals and groups including workshops, information sessions, open houses, and other recruiting events. (10%)
- Nurture new and existing relationships through research, strategic cold-calling, emailing, and other strategies to develop a steady, full schedule that includes one-on-one meetings, group presentations, career and college fairs, and other inquiry-generating activities. (5%)
