JOB SUMMARY
The Vice President, Audit & Accountability is part of the Global Operations (GO) department, responsible for implementing ideas across all brands, disciplines, and continents. The Global Quality team holds operators and owners accountable to our Standards, improving the guest experience through tools such as guest surveys, hotel audits, and renovation accountability programs. The VP will lead a team that partners with Brand and Operational disciplines to develop best-in-class audit and measurement tools. The VP is accountable for developing, testing, launching, and maintaining both new and existing audit products and services for the company, ensuring a rigorous and legally sound Global Accountability program.
Key Accountabilities :
- Leads a team engaged in standards and audit development and management, continually monitoring current business processes.
- Leads a team responsible for the execution of the Global Accountability Program, monitoring and looking for improvement opportunities.
- Partners with brand, discipline, continent, and corporate sponsors to provide insights and solutions to drive guest experience.
- Develops and maintains audit & accountability budgets; manages relationships with external consultants.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Required Education and Experience :
4-year Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major; plus 10 years of business management leadership experience. Advanced degree or MBA highly desired.
Preferred Experience :
Hotel operations experience, partnership and negotiation skills, team building and coaching skills, strategic mindset, time management, organizational awareness, and communication skills.
