Aon Is Looking for A Health & Benefits Consulting Vice President / Account Executive

As part of an industry-leading team, you will help empower results for our clients by delivering innovative and effective Employee Benefit solutions as part of our Health & Benefits business group within Aon in our Capital area offices (Maryland, Virginia, and DC).

Your Impact as a Health Solutions VP / Account Executive

The Health & Benefits Vice President will be a key contributor and leader for mid and large market clients. The role involves the management of ongoing Health and Benefits work for assigned clients including the placement of insurance and coordinating the assigned client team. This position will have frequent interactions with the client Human Resources, Benefits, and Finance teams regarding the delivery of Benefits consulting services.

Job Responsibilities :

• Developing employee benefits programs and leading sophisticated benefits consulting projects.
• Frequent vendor interface and developing client reports.
• Leading external meetings and internal resource coordination.
• Providing consulting services and guidance to mid & large market clients.
• Running the day-to-day work to serve client needs, coordinate the client team, and respond to client inquiries.
• Possessing a fundamental understanding of the Health Solutions practice and participating as needed on task forces and special project teams.
• Exhibiting leadership in business judgment in anticipating client / project needs and developing alternative solutions.
• Forming effective teams, sharing client background and goals, measuring results, sharing ideas, identifying process improvements, and providing timely and regular coaching and feedback to team members.
• Leading all aspects of vendor negotiations and providing coaching to other team members.
• Acting as a strategic resource for consultants.
• Exhibiting thought leadership—understanding and being able to articulate ideas to clients.
• Willingness to learn about other Aon solution lines and introduce them to clients as appropriate.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
