Bio-Rad is seeking a VP, GSC Strategy. The VP, Global Supply Chain Strategy will be responsible for overseeing Supply Chain Strategy Development. Reporting to the EVP Global Supply Chain, the VP, GSC Strategy will help identify the future supply chain strategies that will help serve our mission to build an integrated global supply chain that delivers a sustainable competitive advantage in our key markets. Priorities will include the identification and prioritization of supply chain initiatives and programs, footprint optimization, business continuity planning, M&A activity and leading digitization and cognitive automation within our supply chain. This position is intended to remain outside of the day-to-day operational activities of running the supply chain to ensure we stay focused on delivering continued improvement in the future while driving for operational excellence every day.
Responsibilities
Work collaboratively with EVP Global Supply Chain, VPs of Global Supply Chain and Bio-Rad Business Leaders to develop & refresh the worldwide Supply Chain strategy. This position will play a crucial role in accelerating the maturity of the Supply Chain. This role will support the growth of Bio-Rad globally by making recommendations to align business objectives with the long-term Supply Chain roadmap and to improve the overall maturity of the Global Supply Chain.
BUILD LOYAL CUSTOMERS
- Meeting dynamic Customer requirements - Working with the commercial organization, segment our customer base to align supply chain offerings with customer values and increase both margin and customer service levels. Engage with cross functional stakeholders and benchmark key competitors to gather data and develop insights; help deliver insights and recommendations.
- Corporate Social Responsibility - Working with the ESG team, identify and execute on Environmental sustainability activities to reduce our carbon footprint, increase use of recycled materials and reduce the use of water and paper.
