Lead Childcare Educator

Summary

As a Lead Educator in our Toddler classroom, you will be responsible for providing a safe and nurturing environment for our young learners. You will be leading a team of assistant educators to create a positive and engaging learning experience for toddlers aged 18 months to 3 years old. Your main goal is to ensure that each child receives the attention and care they need to develop their cognitive, social, and emotional skills.

Duties

• Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities that promote learning and development
• Supervise and mentor assistant teachers and aides
• Communicate regularly with parents to provide updates on their child's progress
• Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment
• Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations and licensing requirements

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent and 1 years experience working with toddlers in a licensed childcare center or comparable setting
• CPL III or Child Development Associate Certificate upon hire
• Ability to pass BCI/FBI and ODJFS Background Check
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with other staff members and parents

Nice To Haves

• Associate's degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or related field with 1 years experience
• Current CPR and First Aid certification
