About The Role
As a Sr. Human Resources Generalist at our Cleveland Corporate Office, you will play a critical role in supporting our HR department. You will be responsible for managing the day-to-day HR operations, including complex employee relations, FMLA, benefits administration and compliance. Your main objective will be to ensure that our HR policies and procedures are followed consistently and effectively. You will work closely with the HR team to develop and implement HR initiatives that align with our company's goals and values.

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- 8 years of experience in HR generalist role with exposure to FMLA, Worker's Comp, and employee relations
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations (FMLA, ADA, OSHA, etc.)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite
- PHR or SPHR certification
- Experience in a corporate HR environment within the education or childcare industry
- Experience with ADP Workforce Now
- Experience with payroll processing
- Manage employee relations issues, including investigations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions
- Serve as the main point of contact for employees with FMLA inquiries, ensuring proper documentation and timely communication throughout the leave process.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, including OSHA, ADA, EEOC, and FMLA.
- Assist with the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures
- Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related matters
