Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated Digital Analytics Specialist to join our team. Primary Responsibilities:
- Google Analytics Management - Set up, manage, and optimize Google Analytics accounts, tracking implementations, and reporting for various clients.
- General Account Auditing, Quality Assurance, and Troubleshooting - Identify and resolve tracking and reporting issues quickly. Maintain data quality and accuracy by conducting regular audits and testing tags and analytics setups.
- Onboarding - Responsible for the data implementation portion of new account onboarding.
- Ongoing Optimization and Inspection - Conduct audits to ensure accuracy and provide actionable insights based on data.
Secondary Responsibilities:
- Google Tag Manager Implementation - Design, develop, and troubleshoot tag implementation via Google Tag Manager. Ensure that all tracking is precise, timely, and aligned with the goals of each campaign.
- Client Interaction - Serve as the primary contact for clients regarding analytics and tag management. Provide technical explanations, respond to inquiries, and ensure clients understand the impact of analytics data on their digital strategy.
- Vendor Collaboration - Work closely with third-party vendors to coordinate tagging and tracking implementations across different platforms, resolving any tracking or data discrepancies.
- Reporting & Analysis - Generate regular reports, providing meaningful data visualizations, insights, and recommendations based on performance metrics. Help clients interpret data to drive their business goals.
Required Qualifications:
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Google Analytics experience
- Proficient in Excel skills including pivot tables, data analysis, etc.
- Demonstrated ability to translate technical information for non-technical audiences.
- Experience in a client-facing role, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Basic understanding of digital marketing concepts, including conversion tracking, e-commerce tracking, and attribution models.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and clients simultaneously while maintaining a high level of quality.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with HTML, JavaScript, and CSS for custom tag implementation.
- Knowledge of additional web analytics and digital marketing tools.
- Certification in Google Analytics and/or Google Tag Manager is a plus.
