Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' medical history, substance use, and treatment needs.
Prescribe and monitor medication-assisted treatment (MAT) to individuals with substance use disorders.
Collaborate with the treatment team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
Provide ongoing medical support and consultation to ensure the highest quality of care.
Educate clients about MAT, its benefits, and the recovery process.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records in compliance with regulatory standards.
Stay current with advancements in the field of medication-assisted treatment through continuing education and professional development activities.
Qualifications:
Valid and unrestricted license to practice as a Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) in the state of Florida.
Experience in addiction medicine or medication-assisted treatment is highly desirable.
Strong diagnostic and assessment skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary treatment team.
Familiarity with electronic health record systems is a plus.
Schedule and Compensation:
