Job Description and Tasks:
The 557 WW requires Advisory and Assistance Services (A&AS) support to accomplish IT analytical, security, IA, and clerical functions for the Wing as follows:
- Planning, defining, implementing and assisting with the operational management of the STIG compliance roadmap;
- Monitoring for and researching emerging changes to the STIG, and presenting the Government with alternative solutions to maintain and ensure continued compliance;
- Applying operational focus to implementation of the STIG;
- Assisting with the development and management of the overall Wing IT security program;
- Developing and integrating threat hunting and risk analysis into new and current 557 WW Systems and processes;
- Assisting in the completion of RMF Steps for 557 WW systems; and;
- Planning and assisting with the cybersecurity implementation for systems being transitioned to a cloud environment.
Job Requirements/Required Skills:
Possess at least five (5) years of demonstrated relevant experience with/in secure software development, application of STIGs to computer software, and computer software development methodologies.
Experience with the following relevant IT systems for system analyst tasks qualification purposes:
- Java or J2EE development;
- Fortify security scan software;
- CodeSonar security scan software; and
- Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Application Security and Development STIG.
- Information Assurance Technical Level II or Information Assurance System Architecture and Engineering Level II certified IAW DoDM 8140.03 and DAFMAN 17-1305.
Security Clearance: Secret Clearance required.
