MAJOR OBJECTIVES:
Clients First Landscape Solutions is seeking a Bilingual Spanish Landscape Maintenance Production Manager. The Production Manager is a hands-on position that will manage field supervisors and crews, including managing commercial landscape maintenance service schedules. This person will need to understand quality, safety, service and what it takes to surpass customer expectations. Our goal is to identify and solve problems before the client is aware of their existence.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THIS POSITION:
- Manage maintenance and field crews, providing leadership, training, quality control, and support, attained through effective teamwork, and customer service.
- Lead, motivate, and manage a team of diversified maintenance foremen, department leaders, and laborers.
- Responsible for profitable performance of the project
- Manage all landscape services, including the coordination of all materials, people, equipment and subcontractors
- Maintain the appearance of each customer/client property to exceed customer expectations.
- Inspect and monitor each property to ensure the proper amount of service is given to customer expectations. Establish goals and deadlines received from all sales work orders and service requests as appropriate.
- Planning and projections to ensure appropriate crew coverage under all weather conditions and develop contingent adjustment plans.
- Identify customer property enhancements, proposals for plant replacements, flowers and insect/disease spraying.
- Attend board meetings, establish business partnerships with the property managers and potential customers.
- Track timesheets, billing, work orders, weekly and/or monthly property reports, labor reports, and other documents that are required.
- Monitor job costs and make any needed adjustments to meet/surpass established goals.
- Monitor and maintain irrigation controller including coordination of repairs.
- Train crews and ensure proper equipment usage, pruning techniques, safety, and quality standards are followed.
- Being observant of crews to eliminate worksite injuries and vehicle/equipment damage.
- Job coaching and motivation of field crews and foremen, including counseling, discipline.
- Accountable for accurate inventory management
REQUISITE KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and customer service orientation. Bilingual English Spanish is a plus.
- Creative problem solver, independent, with good judgment.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Ability to effectively coordinate and complete numerous activities simultaneously, possibly under changing weather conditions with limited resources.
PREREQUISITES:
- At least 2-5 years supervisory and/or management experience including the proven abilities to develop and work within a budget and analyze and interpret job cost reports.
- Landscape maintenance field experience including the ability to operate all equipment used by the maintenance crews.
- Landscape Industry Certification in turf maintenance desired.
- The capacity to drive to all work sites and conduct daily tours and visual inspections of work performed and in progress. The work sites include areas yet to be graded, seeded or sodded, areas with varying turf heights and textures, all sizes and shapes of shrubbery, bushes, flower beds, etc.
- Solid and proven supervisory/management experience within landscape maintenance
- Ability to operate all equipment used by the maintenance crews
- Valid Driver’s License
- Bilingual Spanish highly preferred
