POSITION: STORYTELLERS SERVER

WAGE: $7/HR. TIPS

POSITION SUMMARY: Provide an exceptional dining experience through superior food service in a fine dining venue.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

Accept, change, or cancel reservations in a professional manner via in-person and telephone contact with Guest.

Greet, seat, assist, and offer superior service elements to Guests to include beverage service, taking and delivering food orders, maintaining timing of meal flow from appetizer to dessert, announcing special options, making recommendations, and resolving Guest concerns with food quickly and professionally.

Process guest tickets and payments accurately and efficiently.

Completes opening set-up and side-work during/after shift as directed.

Comply with all food and beverage health, liquor and safety regulations.

Assist with catering events as directed.

Perform other tasks as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Opportunities for Internships, Apprenticeships, and Coordinated Work Study programs may be available in lieu of formal education and work experience requirements for this position for enrolled members of the Yavapai-Apache Nation.

1. Education: N/A

2. Work Experience:

a. 6 months experience as food server required in sit-down dining establishment.

b. Experience working in fine dining establishment preferred.

3. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

a. Ability to communicate (verbal, written) effectively and professionally.

b. Able to write, read, and speak fluently in English.

c. Solid understanding of customer service elements.

d. Basic computer / cash register skills with good math abilities.

e. Present a well-groomed, professional appearance and demeanor.

4. Be at least 18 years of age.

5. Participate and pass pre-employment drug screening and background investigation to obtain and maintain a valid Gaming License.
