Position Summary :
Provide the ultimate tennis sports experience by providing the highest quality tennis sports instruction and customer service. Teaches various tennis sports programs to include junior programs, lessons, special events and clinics.
Essential Duties :
- Maintains a work schedule of 70% on court teaching / supervising and 30% of admin hours.
- Is responsible for providing a curriculum and pathway of all junior programs.
- Works alongside Director in the assistance of program growth and player experience.
- Accountable for meeting junior financial goals. Including programs, special events, tournaments, and summer camp.
- Responsible for creating and conducting play options for juniors adjacent to junior programs.
- Is the point of contact for all junior tennis inquiries and registrations.
- Is responsible for checking all junior charges are correct on both Playbypoint, Regfox and the POS.
- Is responsible for conducting competitor analysis and enhancing the program to continue moving the program forward.
- Informs the Director when new equipment is needed, including junior tennis balls.
- Is the Tournament Director for all USTA and UTR junior tournaments.
- Is the Summer Camp Director of a large summer long program.
- Participates in weekly meeting alongside Director.
- Assists Director in training pro staff.
- Creates marketing requests for upcoming junior events.
- Responsible for advertising junior programs in the community.
- Works alongside Director in the education of pro shop staff about programs, tournaments, and upcoming events.
- Works alongside Director in the growth, presence, experience, and overall standard of the club.
