What are the responsibilities and job description for the CAD Programmer position at Climate by Design?
When it comes time to meet our customer’s needs, you will be STEP ONE of the build process – creating drawings and determining materials needed to create the perfect product. Primarily using SolidWorks, you will be designing and drawing computerized HVAC drawings and components, using next-level problem solving skills to ensure that CDI products remain world-class.

What you will be doing:
- Creating drawings and BOMs
- Creating sales order drawings from components
- Designing and drawing computerized HVAC drawings and components
- Entering and modifying information in our parts management system
Qualifications:
Education
- Minimum of 1 year post-secondary training in mechanical or architectural drafting using SolidWorks
Experience
- Microsoft Windows
- SolidWorks experience is required
- At least 1 year experience working with sheet metal in a manufacturing setting is preferred
- Previous HVAC experience is preferred
- Great at problem solving and decision making
