Graphic Designer - Building Automation System

The Building Automation System Graphic Designer is responsible for creating visually appealing and functional user interfaces for our customers. If you have a passion for creating user interfaces that can enhance the functionality of our building automation systems, this opportunity is for you!

Here's what you'll do :

Work with our customers and applications engineers to design accurate custom user interfaces to meet our customer’s needs.
Create graphical representations of building systems such as HVAC, Lighting, Security, and process control to be displayed on our customer’s user interface.
Design intuitive and user-friendly navigation systems and menus for our customer’s user interface.
Develop and maintain standards for our user interfaces.
Create and maintain documentation for our user interface design and configuration.

Here's what we're looking for :

Strong proficiency in or ability to learn any graphic design software necessary to complete job responsibilities listed above.

Familiarity with 3D modeling software.

Some knowledge of building automation systems and their components.

Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with a team.

Familiarity with industry specific standards such as BACnet, Modbus, and LON.

Strong creative skills with a passion for illustrative design.

2 years experience.

Strong computer skills, including Microsoft and Bluebeam.

Create effective designs, with Owner’s thoughts in mind.

Strong work ethic, but team focused.

Deadline oriented with ability to multi-task.

Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Special Requirements

Self-starter, with strong business understanding, strong self-direction.

Interpersonal / influencing skills to work across the organization and with customers.

Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and time management skills.

Willingness to ask questions and pursue multiple solutions to a problem.

Ability to travel and attend out of area training, meetings, and / or conferences as assigned.

Maintain confidentiality of information.

Able to pass security clearance required by clients.

Willing to work flexible hours as needed.
