Position Summary:
The Cashier is responsible fore receiving and posting payments, issuing receipts, and assisting customers with questions regarding patient accounts. The Cashier is also responsible for preparing bank deposits.
Education: High School Diploma is required. Associate's Degree strongly preferred.
Experience: Prefer at least six (6) months experience in a hospital and/or medical office setting in a similar role.
Skills: Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
