Position Summary:
Essential Funtions:
- Responsible, able to work without supervision, dependable, exceptional patient care skills, good people skills.
- Implements, recommends, delegates and coordinates the polysomnography testing of patients requring sleep studies.
- Provides for continuity of care of patients by maintaining accurate patient records.
- Administers and evaluates therapy ordered by the physician.
- Uses and supervises the use of patient care equipment.
- Assists physician with therapeutic/equipment choices.
- Delivers individualized instructions to patient and family members regarding patient's care and in care following discharge.
- Follows and enforces recommended safety policies and procedures and infection control policies and procedures, in order to maintain a safe patient and employee environment.
- Recognizes emergency situations and responds appropriately.
- Performs other duties as assigned by the Leader of Cardiopulmonary.
