OverviewVP Digital Design LeadAt Patients & Purpose we are looking to add a VP Digital Design Lead to our Experience Design (XD) Team to contribute to the planning, design, and execution of exceptional digital experiences for patients and caregivers.You’ll be self-motivated, possess a positive attitude, and relish in the craft of user experience design and influence the experience of a brand through the expectations of the brand’s users.Who the team is : The Experience Design (XD) team is a collective of designers who intend provide thoughtful and creative digital work balancing the goals of our users with the goals of our clients, so our solutions add value, are intuitive and drive successWho we are looking for : The VP Digital Design Lead will be responsible for leading, planning, and executing multiple projects at once across multiple accounts. In this role, you will work autonomously and also with lead ux designers, lead art directors and copywriters to develop solutions that meet the overall project and account goals. Your work is thoughtful, well-executed and the end users are at the helm of your decision-making.In addition to project responsibilities, you actively participate in internal XD initiatives such as creating best practices POVs and seeking new inspiration that helps shape the future of the team and help to continue our position as digital thought leaders in the agency.QUALIFICATIONS : 7 yearsUX / UI design experience with a visual design or product designPresents a strong design portfolio showcasing a variety of digital projects - including mobile-first websites and native phone or tablet applicationsProficient in the latest digital design tools including Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, InVision, and Zeplin,A strong passion for interface visual design, UX best practices, design systems, and prototypingStrong written and verbal communication skillsExperience working with internal and external development teamsDetail focused, goal oriented, and well organizedBasic knowledge of HTML, CSS, etcExperience in staffing, managing and mentoring lower-level UX designersExperience in brief, budget, scope and timeline creation in conjunction with project management groupExperience in reviewing existing systems and processes to identify UX issues and develop UX recommendationsExperience in user-centered design methods and techniques and strong experience strategy skillsExperience and working knowledge of accessibility and WCAG standardsAbility to distill complex ideas into simple concepts, defend your work and be the expert in the roomDetail focused, goal oriented, and well organizedPossesses an organic growth mindsetExperience managing lower-lever designers and providing direction and guidanceAbility to lead and drive the XD group forward through new thinking, process additions, ways of collaboration, and creative problem-solving skillsRESPONSIBILITIES : Collaborate with UX design leads, copywriters, and art directorsDrive a strategic and conceptual vision across various projects within the patient journeyInfluences project level planning and overall design of the user experience for multiple projectsDevelop an experience strategy and collaborate with brand teams to execute creation of the user experience designBuild stronger agency / brand team perception as an expert to foster stronger relationships with higher-level department leadersCreate visual design concepts and be able to communicate needs and manage the visual design process from ideation to development and launchGenerate high-fidelity, pixel perfect visual designs and production assetsPrepare assets and development build kits including interaction specsWork with developers to provide guidance and validate implementationParticipate in new business pitches as necessaryActively seek and share digital inspiration (creative, UX, technology, general digital trends).Continuously learns and evaluates existing project workFocusing on UX area(s) of specialty and finding new opportunities within brand teamsForward thinking about what’s next for XD groups capabilities and adding to themThe range below represents the low and high end of the base salary someone in this role may earn as an employee of an Omnicom Health Group company in the United States. Salaries will vary based on various factors including but not limited to professional and academic experience, training, associated responsibilities, and other business and organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of our total compensation package for employees.
