What You’ll Accomplish

 

More objective, less subjective—you’ve consistently contributed to a handful of largescale projects and rooted your designs heavily in brand strategy. Your partnership with your cross-functional counterparts is what makes your designs successful and you are deeply involved in managing the day-to-day of the assignments in your queue and can handle a few projects with varying strategies at once.

 

Presenting internally or to clients is second nature and you command attention while actively listening during presentations. You are ready to mentor Senior Designers and Designers and share your wealth of knowledge with them.

 

You are committed to the XD team and you set the  example by taking an active role in internal initiatives and presenting digital thought leadership to the agency and our clients.

 

How You’ll Do It

  • Develop ideas that are strategic, innovative, and provide an optimal user experience.
  • Look outside of pharma to adapt cool, new, out of industry ideas that can work within the healthcare space.
  • Partner with cross-functional developers to execute creative initiatives.
  • Supervise junior designers in all communications related to your brands and give clear direction to creative team members.
  • Act as a “digital go to” across agency teams and clients, providing thought leadership and triaging issues as needed.
  • Actively seek and share digital inspiration (creative, technology, general digital trends).
  • Work with creative directors on digital pitches
  • Contribute strategically to the long term vision of Patients & Purpose digital work

 

What You’ll Need To Do It

  • 4-6 years of digital/interactive design experience at an advertising agency or in a similar environment (history in healthcare is not required).
  • Filled with a sense of genuine fascination of the digital space and a natural hunger for what’s next.
  • Prides him/herself on being proficient in digital design, while also being very knowledgeable of usability, UX and technology.
  • Is an expert with the latest software and online tools/services that allow him/her to express creativity and generate better work.
  • Understands the strengths and limitations of evolving technologies and trends such as Responsive Web Design (RWD), HTML5/CSS3, mobile apps, and social media.
  • Presents a strong design portfolio showcasing a variety of interactive projects, including but not limited to websites, rich media, mobile websites, and native phone/tablet apps (roles and responsibilities on each project must be clearly stated in the portfolio).
  • Has strong time and project management skills
  • Is detail focused, goal oriented, and well organized

 

Where You’ll Go

 

Others will begin to see you as an XD leader and interaction design expert. The client may start to see you as a partner to infuse creative thinking into brand strategy. You will provide junior designers with opportunities for growth and set a positive tone for the team. You will take personal responsibility for the brands you work with and demonstrate exceptional design skills.

 

The range below represents the low and high end of the base salary someone in this role may earn as an employee of an Omnicom Health Group company in the United States. Salaries will vary based on various factors including but not limited to professional and academic experience, training, associated responsibilities, and other business and organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of our total compensation package for employees. Salary decisions are dependent on the circumstances of each hire.

  • $128,500 - $130,000
