Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Apprentice Electrician to join our team. Duties
- Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
- Utilize power tools and hand tools to perform tasks such as wiring, circuit installation, and troubleshooting.
- Conduct tests using an ohmmeter and other testing equipment to ensure proper functionality of electrical systems.
- Work alongside skilled electricians to learn techniques for low voltage installations and repairs.
- Follow safety protocols on construction sites to maintain a safe working environment.
- Help with the organization of tools and materials required for various projects.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance knowledge of electrical systems and industry standards.
Skills
- Familiarity with power tools and hand tools commonly used in electrical work.
- Basic understanding of electrical principles and practices, including knowledge of low voltage systems.
- Experience or interest in working as an industrial electrician or commercial electrician is a plus.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams related to electrical installations.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
