Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Apprentice Electrician to join our team. This mid-level position is ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in the electrical field while working alongside skilled professionals. The Apprentice Electrician will assist in various electrical tasks on construction sites, focusing on high voltage. This role offers an excellent opportunity to learn about electrical systems, schematics, and the National Electrical Code (NEC) while contributing to the successful completion of projects.
Responsibilities
- Assist licensed electricians in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment.
- Learn to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Utilize power tools and hand tools safely and effectively under supervision.
- Support the installation of wiring, circuit breakers, outlets, and other electrical components.
- Participate in troubleshooting electrical issues by using voltmeters and other diagnostic tools.
- Follow safety protocols on construction sites to ensure a safe working environment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to all company policies and procedures.
Requirements
- 2 years electrical experience.
- Basic understanding of electrical principles and terminology.
- Familiarity with high voltage systems is advantageous.
- Ability to read schematics and technical drawings is beneficial.
- Experience working with power tools in a construction environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Willingness to learn and take direction from experienced electricians.

Pay: $13.00 - $18.00 per hour
