Compensation: Approximately $51,532 - $59,740 per year. All individual pay rates are calculated based on the candidate's experience, internal equity, and hours worked per week.
Overview of Role:
Provide leadership to the Enrollment Department at assigned site(s) and maximize patient enrollment in insurance and discount programs in accordance with federal and state laws and regulation. The Manager is responsible for providing effective leadership and oversees the duties and functions of the Enrollment staff and ensures that all departmental activities are carried out with accuracy, timeliness, and confidentiality to ensure Clinica’s full compliance with federal and state regulations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Evaluate, design, and implement systems and workflows for the Enrollment Department to maximize patient enrollment in insurance and discount programs.
- Enhance the effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity of the Enrollment Department by leading and contributing to departmental performance improvement projects. Develops clear goals and objectives for performance management and effectively communicates accountability.
- Be knowledgeable of applicable governmental and commercial insurance and discount program rules and regulations. Train departmental and organizational employees as necessary regarding program rules.
- Maintain knowledge of Clinica’s Patient Portal in order to support patient enrollment and other troubleshooting.
- Participate in the creation, completion, validation, and submission of assigned external reporting requirements.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree and 3 years progressive experience in patient eligibility and enrollment services preferred.
- Experience in a federally qualified health center (FQHC) preferred.
- Experience in medical, dental, and behavioral health care is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years progressive experience can be submitted for degree.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Bilingual Spanish is required.
- Knowledge of various governmental and commercial insurance programs including Health First Colorado (CO Medicaid), Child Health Plan Plus (CHP ), Primary Care Fund (PCF), CO Indigent Care Program (CICP), and Connect for Health Colorado strongly desired.
