Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Assists the Clinic Medical Director with strategic planning and plan care model, clinical responsibilities including customer service, quality of care and service standards.
- Recruits, trains, supports, supervises and evaluates the Clinicians.
- Assists with the management oversight of clinical performance standards as well as the clinical components of Pharmacy.
- Assists with the clinical responsibilities regarding deliverables on grants and Total Quality Management.
- Maintains own clinical practice as defined by the Clinica Campesina guidelines.
- Maintains own administrative schedule as appropriate.
- Maximizes community linkages while acting as advocate for patients.
- Shares responsibility with the Clinic Medical Director, and Clinic Director and other staff assuring an appropriate clinical interface between clinical sites
- Responsible for appropriate management of complaints directed at clinician team and involving Clinic Director as appropriate.
- Demonstrates knowledge of the principals of growth and development over the life span.
- Completes biannual credentialing and privileging.
- Supports and promotes MCC utilization with the Clinician team.
Education and Experience
- MD, DO, Board Certified Nurse Practitioner with BSN or PA with Bachelor's Degree, or Board Certified Nurse Midwife
- Graduate of an accredited Program.
- One year experience in ambulatory health care.
- Ability to work in a team management system.
- Sensitivity to low income, ethnic minority community a must.
- Bilingual in Spanish.
