What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director of Nursing position at Clinical Magnet?
Clinical Magnet (part of Icon Medical) is partnering with one of our largest clients to select their next Director of Nursing for one of their locations near the Stroudsburg, PA area.
Responsibilities of the Director of Nursing:
- Lead all aspects of the nursing department for a recently acquired nursing and rehab facility
- Work with the assistant director and nursing staff to help lead the clinical acuity and census of the facility
Requirements for the Director of Nursing:
- 2 years of DON experience is strongly preferred
- Strong clinical background, ideally within a skilled nursing or long-term care environment
- Organization-minded, ability to keep tasks prioritized
- Experience leading staff and holding them accountable to maintain clinical standards
- Strong understanding of clinical quality within the skilled nursing and long-term care world
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred but not required
- Current Nursing License
Compensation, Benefits, Schedule for the Director of Nursing:
- $90,000-$130,000 base salary, with additional compensation
- Full benefits package (medical/dental/pto/etc.)
- Schedule is M-F, Onsite
