This 150 Bed Hospital provides a full-range of services including an Emergency Department, a full-service Birth Center, and Surgical Services Department to deliver quality patient-centered care to the surrounding communities.
The Operating Room Registered Nurse will report to the Perioperative Services Nurse Manager and work closely with an experienced team of Healthcare Professionals who boast an accreditation by the Forum for Shared Governance. The role involves taking responsibility for patient assessment and history review, working with the physician and family to develop a clear path of care. As a key member of the unit leadership, the nurse will help formulate a care plan and execute on that plan.
In terms of operational responsibilities, the Operating Room Registered Nurse will circulate in the operating suites, support pre and post operation turnarounds, and serve as a responsible partner on a large team. This individual will have opportunities to grow their skills through mentorship, develop efficiency upgrades, and lead projects to drive improvements in the unit.
