Clinical Speech Therapist Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled Clinical Speech Therapist to join our team at Clinical Management Consultants Careers.
In this role, you will conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and develop personalized intervention plans for patients with varying diagnoses, including pediatric, child, adult, and geriatric populations. You will work closely with physicians, healthcare teams, and other referral sources to provide expert guidance and support.
As a Clinical Speech Therapist, you will be responsible for assessing and treating language/speech and swallowing impairments resulting from neurological insults/diseases, developmental disabilities, and delays. Your expertise will enable you to accurately assess and treat various patient needs, including impaired oral motor abilities or laryngeal functions, dehydration/malnutrition, or changes in anatomy secondary to trauma or surgery.
The ideal candidate for this role should have five years of active licensed clinical experience as an SLP and be competent in 2-3 of the following areas: Bedside Swallow Evaluation, Videofluoroscopy, Blue Dye Swallow Evaluation. Current California licensure as an SLP is required, along with BLS certification and Certification of Clinical Competence through ASHA. Certifications are also required for specific procedures.
