This premier healthcare institution in Northern California's sun-kissed coastal region is actively seeking a Speech Language Therapist SLP.
The Speech Language Therapist SLP will join a dedicated team of nurses and other healthcare professionals who are committed to healing people in body, mind, and spirit.

The Speech Language Therapist SLP will provide clinical speech and language pathology services, including:
- Patient evaluation
- Interpretation of evaluation results
- Intervention for various diagnoses in pediatric, child, adult, and geriatric patients
The Speech Language Therapist will accurately assess and treat language/speech and swallowing impairments resulting from neurological insult/disease, developmental disabilities and delays, impaired oral motor abilities or laryngeal functions, dehydration/malnutrition or change in anatomy secondary to trauma or surgery.
The Speech Language Therapist SLP will collaborate with physicians and other referral sources, providing clinical guidance to non-licensed personnel. They will also work closely with various healthcare team members.
In addition, the Speech Therapist will administer contrast media under the direct supervision of the attending radiologist during videofluoroscopy to observe, collect data, and measure parameters of swallowing. Individual therapists are assigned age populations according to their training.
We seek a highly experienced Speech Language Therapist SLP with five years of active licensed clinical SLP experience. The ideal candidate should be competent in 2-3 of the following areas:
- Bedside Swallow Evaluation
- Videofluoroscopy
- Blue Dye Swallow Evaluation
Requirements include:
- Current California licensure as an Speech Language Pathologist
- BLS certification
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) through ASHA
- Certifications required for specific procedures
Under extenuating circumstances, we may allow a grace period of no more than one month for ASHA Certification of Clinical Competency renewals.
