As the Inpatient Laboratory Supervisor ASCP, you will oversee the daily operations of the laboratory department, ensuring adherence to policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise a team of Medical Technologists, Medical Laboratory Technicians, and Medical Lab Assistants
- Ensure accurate test results and proper specimen handling
- Coordinate work assignments, review staff performance, and provide on-site consultation for technical issues
- Maintain inventory, calibrate instruments, and ensure equipment is functioning properly
What You Bring:
- Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology or equivalent experience
- MT or MLS (ASCP) certification
- State of Tennessee General Supervisor License required
- Minimum 3 years' experience as a Medical Technologist
