A teach hospital is seeking an experienced and dedicated ICU Nurse Supervisor to join their team at a leading 400-bed medical center. The successful Critical Care Nurse Supervisor will oversee the daily operations of a 30-bed Intensive Care Unit, ensuring the highest quality of patient care and staff management.
The Intensive Care Unit Assistant RN Manager will be responsible for supervising and coordinating nursing staff in the ICU, collaborating with multidisciplinary patient care teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes, and implementing and maintaining quality improvement initiatives. The ICU Assistant RN Manager will, ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards, participate in budget management and resource allocation, and foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork and excellence.
The Critical Care Assistant Nurse Manager will have a background in cardiovascular and neurosurgical ICU care, with familiarity in managing post-operative cardiothoracic surgery patients. An ICU RN with proficiency in caring for patients on specialized devices such as Impella, IABP, and CRRT is highly desirable. Experience with Swan Ganz Catheters is also preferred.
The Clinical Nurse Supervisor ICU will work a Monday through Friday schedule on the day shift, with hourly pay. This health system provides competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits.
