The Emergency Services RN will report to the Manager of the ED. There will be multiple Charge Nurses who are able to provide assistance with any issues that arise. The medical surgical registered nurse will have the opportunity to provide direct and indirect patient care in the Emergency Department setting.
The Emergency Services RN will be a part of a rewarding department. This nurse will have the opportunity to formulate a care plan based on identified needs and facilitate interventions and referrals as appropriate. They will also be able to effectively communicate identified needs and care plans with the multidisciplinary care team including providers, pharmacists, dieticians, social workers, case managers, and more. The Emergency Services RN will also evaluate the effectiveness of interventions and adjust the care plan accordingly.
