Operating on a day shift from 9 : 00 AM to 5 : 00 PM, this position, under the direction of the Clinical Coordinator, plays a crucial role in ensuring optimal and cost-effective patient therapy. Responsibilities of the Hospital Pharmacy Assistant Manager include overseeing Pharmacists, Pharmacy Technicians, and Interns, conducting medication histories, and monitoring medication profiles during floor rounds. The Hospital Pharmacy Assistant Manager will provide primary care and consultative services to patients and healthcare providers to ensure optimal drug therapy and reduce hospital stays.
What will make you stand out?
- Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited School of Pharmacy.
- Current State of New York Pharmacist License.
- New York State Certified Immunizer (required within 12 months of hire).
- 3 years of hospital or Clinical Pharmacy experience preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with Meditech, Acu-Dose, and CPOE systems preferred.
