This opening for an IR Technician is at a respected 200 bed non-profit medical center in the Denver Metro Area. In this role, the Interventional Radiology Tech provides exceptional patient care within the medical imaging department, performing high-quality exams and images while prioritizing patient comfort and safety. With a focus on adhering to safe radiation practices, this position also requires leadership abilities, serving as a role model for peers and a clinical resource for the team. The position follows a consistent schedule of four 10-hour shifts from Monday to Friday, with additional on-call responsibilities. Candidates are encouraged to bring their imaging expertise, with one year of experience preferred, along with a high school diploma or GED, and ideally an associate degree. Required certifications include registration as a technologist in Radiology, Vascular-Interventional Radiology, or Cardiovascular-Interventional Radiology, along with a Colorado Surgical Assistant License if applicable, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
