Nurse Director – Home Health and Hospice (Yakima, WA)

A leading healthcare organization is seeking an experienced Nurse Director to oversee the Home Health and Hospice operations in Yakima, Washington. This key leadership role will direct clinical services across two home health offices with patient censuses of ~100 and ~50, as well as hospice services with a 20-patient census.

Position Summary: The Nurse Director Home Health and Hospice will coordinate and oversee all direct/indirect patient care and day-to-day operations. The Nurse Director Home Health and Hospice will provide guidance to the clinical team, oversee patient records/reporting, manage inventory/supplies, develop orientation/education programs, and ensure adherence to organizational standards.

Hospice Home Health Director Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee home health offices (~100 and ~50 patient censuses) and hospice services (20 patient census)
• Coordinate all direct and indirect patient services and daily clinical operations
• Counsel clinical team to continually elevate quality of care provided
• Oversee patient records, statistics, reports per regulations
• Manage inventory, supplies, equipment for patient services
• Develop orientation and continuing education for staff
• Promote interdepartmental collaboration
• Ensure adherence to core organizational values/standards

The Ideal Home Health Hospice Director Candidate:

• Registered Nurse with valid WA state license
• 3 years of home health/hospice leadership experience
• Excellent clinical, communication and leadership skills
• Passionate about delivering exceptional patient-centered care
