This person will be supported by 2 assistant managers and multiple Senior Oncology staff, all working together to provide comprehensive care to this specific population of patients. This well developed Cancer Center consists of state of the art technology, servicing a 200 bed hospital as well as patients being treated for their cancer in an outpatient setting. The Oncology Administrative Operations Manager will join a department that is known for excellent care and playing a significant role in quality and treatment.
The Oncology Administrative Operations Manager will be in charge of organizing, directing and oversight of daily operations to include all office, facilities and registration functions. This involves keeping records up to date with current best practices and making sure staff are following guidelines set by the hospital. In addition, the position requires collaboration with the Oncology Service Line Director and physicians to achieve the highest level of operational and clinical efficiency that aligns with the hospital’s standards and values. The Oncology Administrative Operations Manager will also maintain scheduling and smooth flow of clinic activity.
