A leading critical access hospital located in southern Florida is now seeking an experienced Senior Medical Laboratory Technologist to join their award-winning healthcare organization.
Located in the heart of the Florida Keys, this critical access facility offers a variety of medical and surgical services in a rural community setting. This facility is fully accredited by the Joint Commission and excels in a number of clinical areas including oncology, diagnostic imaging and lab services, emergency care, surgical and endoscopy services, physical therapy, and rehab services.
Reporting to the Laboratory Manager, the Senior Medical Laboratory Technologist will serve as an expert resource within the lab offering guidance and training to staff members. Other responsibilities include providing equipment maintenance, performing complex laboratory procedures, developing procedure manuals, and assisting with recruitment and training initiatives.
What’s Needed to Succeed:
- Degree in Clinical Lab Science of Medical Technology
- Current ASCP license as a Clinical Lab Scientist (CLS), Medical Technologist (MT), or Medical Laboratory Technologist (MLT)
- Prior working experience is a plus!
