The Surgery Center Operating Room Nurse Manager will directly report to the Surgery Center Operating Room Nurse Director. This individual must provide daily updates regarding the status of the operating room to their superior and will be expected to work together with their director to ensure all rules and regulations are being followed. Serving as a direct leader to the Surgery Center Operating Room Assistant Nurse Manager, the Surgery Center Operating Room Nurse Manager must be readily available to provide their assistance and guidance during any pressing and / or critical situation. The Surgery Center Operating Room Nurse Manager will also serve as a mentor to the Surgery Center Operating Room Nurses to ensure each patient is being treated with the upmost care.
The Surgery Center Operating Room Nurse Manager will be expected to manage and provide direct oversight to the operating room while their team performs various clinical assessments. Equipped with cutting-edge technology within their surgery center, the Surgery Center Operating Room Nurse Manager will be required to be well-versed in any and all clinical equipment utilized within their department. This individual will have 24 / 7 coverage of the operating room and must be easily accessible to offer their guidance and subject matter expertise.
