In this role, you will perform vital parts of the patient care process through moderate and high complexity testing, analyzing and reviewing testing results, and working in a fast-paced laboratory environment with biological and chemical hazards.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this position, you will need an associate's degree in laboratory science or medical laboratory technology from an accredited institution, as well as ~1 year of laboratory training or experience performing high complexity testing. Strong reading, writing, and analytical skills are also essential, along with the ability to operate general laboratory equipment.
Bachelor's Degree Option:
An alternative route to this role requires a Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Technology; or Bachelor of Science in Chemical, Biological, or Physical Science with 1 year of Medical Technology training, followed by ~2 years of laboratory training or experience performing high complexity testing within your area of specialty.
