What are the responsibilities and job description for the HR Administrative Assistant position at Clinical Reference Laboratory, Inc.?
GENERAL STATEMENT OF RESPONSIBILITY: Provide administrative support for Human Resources and other departments and Receptionist duties.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Answer all calls promptly, direct calls to proper area/person.
- Assist with administration of service award programs (anniversaries, Serve One Another, Power of One, etc.) including maintaining pins, gifts, certificates and scheduling and coordination of presentations and ordering/set up of cakes/food.
- Maintain employee pictures for anniversaries and events (sending to managers, posting in frames in hallway, etc.)
- Administer authorized access badges working with HR and CRL Security; renewing with appropriate paperwork, maintaining and replacing as needed.
- Assist with creating and maintaining employee presentations and visitor notifications on monitor systems.
- Assist with preparation of Under the Microscope four times a year.
- Assist in planning and scheduling of client’s luncheon meetings for various departments or groups.
- Assist in the planning and orchestrating of the employee events such as holiday events, employee appreciation lunches, Lab Week activities etc.
- Order and maintain HR supplies (i.e. office, orientation, new hire, etc.).
- Assist HR with emails, signs, presentations as needed (i.e. Wellness Snack and Learns, Benefit postings, etc.).
- Assist HR with recruiting tasks as needed.
- Assist HR with mailings, organizing benefit materials, ordering print copies, etc.
- Assist with maintaining, updating, and assembling supply of human resources documents; new employee packets, supervisor training, employee handbooks, etc.
- Assist CRL Cares committee as needed.
- Assist other Administrative Assistants in conference planning and overload work as necessary.
- Make employee identification badges.
- Sort mail as needed.
- Maintain and protect the confidentiality of all CRL, CRL subsidiaries, legal entities and client information.
- Be able to comply with all applicable federal, state, and local safety and health regulations that would apply to this job.
- Keep work area neat and clean.
Other duties and special projects as assigned.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION: High School Diploma or equivalent.
EXPERIENCE: 6 months receptionist and/or administrative experience.
