What are the responsibilities and job description for the Supply Chain Logistics Manager position at Clinical Resource Network (CRN)?
Our client is looking to fill the role of Supply Chain Logistics Manager. This position will be hybrid and based out of the Livingston, NJ area.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for Global Supply strategy execution.
- Support logistics operations, manager logistic order creation and work closely with transportation providers.
- Must have sound knowledge of import and export policies.
- Interface with FDA, Customs and other external bodies as required for logistics issues.
- Interface with courier vendors for all delivery and logistics service, end to end.
- Oversee the inventory management, address and resolve any issues related to the shipments or other logistical issues.
- Focus on imports and domestic shipments such as bulk and finished goods, and clinical study samples.
- Communication with 3PL vendors for all in-bound order and customer shipments.
- Manage transportation and distribution plans for incoming US shipments.
- Will take part in logistics audits as needed, requiring collaboration with QA department.
- Create and manage all import/export documentation in relation to finished good, drug product and drug substance.
- Provide status updates and reports for domestic shipments on a continual basis.
- Analyze shipping date monthly to provide trend analysis to management.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- 7 years of logistics focused experience
- Seeking prior pharmaceutical experience
- MS Office proficiency
- Prior ERP system experience/knowledge (SAP highly preferred)
- Bilingual - Spanish is a plus
