Position: Pharmacy Technician – Part-time
Work Schedule:
· Wednesday and Thursday 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm

Competitive Compensation: The starting hourly rate is $20 for a Non-Certified Pharmacy Technician and $21 for CPhT.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent is required.
- Licensed Pharmacy Technician in Tennessee is required.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
- Strong oral communication skills.
- Dependable in attendance and job performance.
- Strong attention to detail, ability to organize, and prioritize to maintain
productivity.
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and be flexible.
- Ability to perform tasks accurately and efficiently when inputting information.
- Possess the ability and initiative to plan and complete daily activities with
minimal direction.
- Must be able to pass pre-employment criminal background check and drug
screen.
Duties:
- Process and fill medication orders through the Automated Tablet Packaging
(ATP) machines.
- Continuously and efficiently run the ATPs throughout the day.
- Refill medication canisters for the ATPs.
- Make and check lighted tray consoles for medication not in canisters.
- Change paper and ribbon for the ATPs.
- Tear and prepare multi-dose baggies into boxes for shipment.
- Ensure quality standards are met for all fulfillment tasks.
- Log all daily model site packages/shipments in the shipment log.
- Keep workstation area organized and ensure the area is free from safety
hazards.
- Complete special projects and other duties as assigned by Management.
Language Skills:
Must be able to express self adequately in written and oral English communication and to communicate effectively with employees and vendors.
Physical Demands:
The physical demands described here represent those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job:
- May sit, stand, stoop, bend, and walk intermittently during the day.
- May sit or stand seven (7) to ten (10) hours per day.
- May be necessary to work extended hours as needed.
- Finger dexterity to operate office equipment is required.
- May need to lift up to twenty-five (25) pounds on occasion.
- Visual acuity to see and read fine prints. Specific vision abilities required by this role include close vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
- Must be able to hear normal voice sounds.
