Description
CSO is looking for a Finance Revenue and Collections Managing Specialist.
The Finance Revenue and Collections Managing Specialist will oversee the billing and collection of third-party claims in a confidential, timely and accurate manner while adhering to CSO billing and collection policies and procedures. This position must safeguard the accuracy and confidentiality of the billing and collection process and help to ensure that payments are received and recorded in a timely manner. This position must implement procedures based on frequently changing reimbursement guidelines and assist in cross training staff.
As a Finance Revenue and Collections Managing Specialist:
You Will:

Resolve and re-work all outstanding claims until adjudication

Generate insurance claim batches weekly and copy pertinent EOB’s for secondary payers if required

Transmit electronic billing weekly and download 999 files and 277 error reports, verifying and correcting if needed

Post and distribute payments as received from insurers, resolving all zero paid claims in a timely manner

Reconcile self-pay deposits as requested

Handle all client inquiries as it pertains to billing

Work aged trial balance report weekly and follow up on claims not paid through coordination with Billing Analyst and Reports Manager

Ensure that all claims, write-offs, and denials are recorded and processed in time for the month-end close

Assist with collections reconciliation and invoicing to ensure money received represent what patients should pay or should have paid

Verify insurance eligibility as requested

Print, review and mail client statements on a monthly basis

Qualifications
Your Background:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Computer proficiency with experience in database programs, spreadsheets, email, electronic health records and word processing
- Previous medical billing experience
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
